NEUROLOGY SPECIALIST

Dr. Aminur RAHMAN Completed his Bachelor Degree in Medicine from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. He then Obtained his Speciality Postgraduation Education & Training in Neurology -Neuromedicine- from the Institute of Postgraduate Medicine & Research (IPGM&R), University of Dhaka; & Fellowship (FACP) at the American College of Physicians (ACP).

Moreover, His Recent Accomplishments includes: Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Informatics, Canada; Certification in Sleep Medicine, Canada, and Studied Brain Disorders Management, Canada

In addition, He is also an Active Member at the American Academy of Neurology (AAN), American College of Physicians (ACP), International Headache Society (IHS), & Society of Neurologist of Bangladesh (SNB), Dhaka. Dr. RAHMAN Enjoys the challenges of taking care of Neurological patients with a wide variety of clinical problems, and is a strong advocate for excellent and timely healthcare.

His current Passions Include: Providing High Quality Patient care, Teaching the next Generation of Physicians and Improving the quality of Care Provided in the Neurological Domains. The Vision is to Maximize Accessibility and Afordability of Neurological Services to the Under privillage Communities irrespective of their physical location or socioeconomic status.

Terminology: Neurology Specialist, Neurologist, and Neuromedicine Specialist all constitute a single Specialist who studied Neurology, a Specialized Branch of Medical Specialty.

Physician is a profession, and is limited to individuals who have completed a course of study in Human Medicine, and have been licensed by the legal Authority to practice medicine and surgery within that country.

So my MBBS degree makes me entitled to be referred to as “Doctor”. Bangladesh Medical & Dental Council (BMDC), a legal authority, license makes me a physician. That license also makes people want to call me “Doctor”.

Physician, a medical professional who practises Medicine, has expertise in maintaining, or restoring health through the study, diagnosis, and treatment of diseaseS, injury, and other physical and Non-Physical (Mental) disorders.

SPECIALIST MEDICAL DOCTOR

Physicians who focus their practice on specific system or disease categories, types of patients, and methods of treatment—known as specialities. Physician- A specialist Medical Doctor, Holding Advanced Specialized Education and Training in a Particular field; for instance, Neurologists receive extensive education and training in Detecting, Evaluating, & managing neurological Diseases & Disorders.
